Why does my TV keep returning to 3D in the set-up, after I programme it to 2D? I have had it taken away for a week, and when returned was told it had been checked by `Curry`s technicians` and found to be ok. HUH! I complained to them and was told to contact Panasonic for advise. Why the hell can`t they do what it says on the tin??? My wife finds her eye`s feel strain after a few minutes.

Do you by any chance switch it off at the mains when not in use?

If you do than that's probably why, modern stuff is intended to be left on (standby) all the time.
