Hi Folks

Has anyone bought the Panasonic DVD Recorder: DMRE85EBS? How are you getting on with it? Is it easy to use? What’s the storage like on the Hard Drive? Is it, for example, equivalent to 20 full length films? Has it got an On-Screen Library facility for both DVDs & the Hard Drive?

Mum’s thinking about getting one. She’s had the Panasonic NV-HD 680 Video Cassette Recorder for some time & likes the On Screen Tape library facility.

One other thing…I know this Panasonic DVD Recorder doesn’t have a built in Freeview Box, but as the Analogue signals are going to be switched off in 2007 are these sorts of DVD recorders going to be more likely to have in-built Digiboxes?
