TV Signals

We have a Digital TV and Humax PVR9300T in the kitchen and a Digital TV with a seperate DVD Player and Bush Video Recorder both fed off their own Aerial in the loft, my problem is that when they are both on the same channel there is a one second delay between them and the other problem is when I am watching Calendar news I keep getting different stories and reports but then it goes back to the same reports, I presume this is because we are picking up two different signals, is there anything I can do to get them both on the same level. We are in Halifax (HX2), we got our signal from Emley Moor before the switchover but now I don't know if that has changed. Thanks, Kath.
