Can anyone tell me wether I need MDM7.EXE, niwz.exe and NvCplDaemon (which is started by rundll32.exe NvQTwk,NvCplDaemon) in my start up and what do they actually do. If I dont need them how do I stop them from running, I can do it with Startup Cop, but is there another way Thanks for any help.

These files belong to your Nvidia Graphic card. Check out the following link: http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages/startup
_full.htm You
can disable them in your startup tab (msconfig in start/run). I'm not sure about the first file though. Cheers, PD
