I use the numbers the far right of my keyboard to type German symbols (ie ALT+132 gives me ), and in the past I have chanced across other symbols when I've mistyped. Does anyone know of a complete list of all the symbols which can be typed this way?

Go into accessories and then character map - should all be there.

You can also create a quick ASP script to generate a list of all the alt codes. [copy this code and save it as **.asp on your pc then open it in internet explorer]

<%
Response.write "<font face=""arial"">"
i = 0
Do While i < 65537
Response.write "Alt " & i & " - &#" & i & ";<br>"
i = i + 1
Loop
Response.write "</font>"
%>

Forgot to mention different fonts show different combinations of charectors/symbols, i think MS SANS is the best

Have a look at http://www.lookuptables.com/

I use ASCII codes quite a bit, since I live in Germany but I have a UK spec Laptop (work computer is German keyboard).  The two I use the most are (129) and (225).

Trye here http:www.mesweet.net/printaltsymbols.html
