dvd player is no longer recognised on my laptop...yet appears to be working...?
6 Answers
my internal dvd writer/player has stopped playing anything and doesnt appear as a drive in computer or in device manager...its as though it is not there...
however, the light comes on, the tray comes out, when i put a disc in, it whizzes and whirrs and beeps as though its about to play...then... nothing...
recently i have deleted a lot of stuff off my computer... could i have deleted something that makes my computer not recognise it anymore?
cant think what but ...
thanks
