If you were selling an Iphone, would you have to inform apple?
I ask because the phone would be registered to the current owner, if it changed hands surely the phone would have to be re-registered to the new owner..?

I sold my old one to my brother last week after backing up my info to my itunes, so I could put it all on my new phone, then I restored my old one to its factory settings to give to him. He just had to sync it with his own itunes when he got it.
ios 5 is an apple update, the update gives the phone various improved features, this update is only available to iphones from 3gs upwards, the 3g wont get the update.
thats said its a good phone and the crack is very minor, the otterbox case was bought as a result to prevent my daughter damaging the phone further. I can email you some pics.
