windows log on passwords

my friends computer has three people sharing it they all have there own passwords but some people on it keep changing other peoples passwords through there own with control panel is there any way that can be stopped i didnt think you could do that till i got home and tried it on mine (i have never needed to look ) i was shocked it was so easy to get into other parts of the computer like my daughter said what is the point of having a password if someone else can change it all help will be appreciated she is running winXP and does it change anything that it says she has two hard drives and a lot of her things are duplicated on both drives plz help thank you x

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you need to have lots of people with administrator privlages for games, etc but don't want them to mess wit the settings try fresh ui, http://www.freshdevices.com/freshui.html i use it to allow my sister to use sonicstage but not change passwords or affect system wide settings. You need to install it then go onto each individual account and put a password on the software so they can't undo the settings then you can deny access to the control panel etc.
