i've had my motherboard replaced in my packard bell, when it came back to me the product key didnt work as they didnt tatoo the bios so it had to be sent off again for this to be done. Ive had the laptop back for a few months now and its running slow and freezing all the time so i want to wipe everything off and reinstall windows. so i would like to know if the product key will work after the reinstall?? thanks for the help

If the product key is the genuine one for the computer then it should activate while reinstalling Windows.

And if it doesn't then you are given a phone number to phone and you just explain that you have had your motherboard changed and that should be ok.
