Angry Birds Rio Hd loss of sound on ipad2

I have recently acquired an ipad and have installed several games on it. Angry Birds Rio worked fine to start with but has now lost its' sound. All the other games are fine. On looking on the internet some other people have experienced this problem and it seems that you have to reinstall it with the loss of course of your previous scores. Could someone please tell me how to do this. Should I just delete it from my ipad, then plug the ipad into my imac and it will then reinstall it from there, hopefully with the sound back.

When yo connect to your Mac, do a backup sync of your iPad before you delete it from the iPad. Then plug it into your mac again and reinstall from iTunes>Apps. Your scores should be restored. Whether that sorts out your sound problem is another matter. Make sure the app is up to date by checking updates.
