I've installed Firefox to try and eliminate a problem I was having on IE and it seems to have worked but when I use the up and down arrows to scroll through a page it seems very slowly and sort of jumpy. It's crap.

Anyway to fix it?

Ah, thanks!!

Any idea on the scrolling thing?
That is usually a graphics drivers issue.
laptop or PC?
Checked for graphics card driver updates at all recently?

Get a better machine
That's helpful.
i use this add-on https://addons.mozill...scrolling/?src=search which, once you get the settings that suit, takes away any jerkiness

Isn't it just Al.

It's a Dell laptop. Have avoided doing any updates for a while as they take so long. (I know the more that build up the longer it would take).

Would that no affect IE too?

Bibble, that's perfect!!!

Clicked, installed, restarted all in five seconds and it's much smoother! Thanks!!!
Might be worth checking Mouse drivers are up to date too.
Use a mouse, right?
If it's OK in IE but not in firefox then rojash has probably given the answer...

If it's bad in both, al has probably got the answer...

If it's the first one bibble's answer will make it worse, not better.

I use a mouse when I'm at work (but the scroller on that doesn't work). At home just use the pad and arrows.

It was fine on IE but not Firefox.

Bibbles addon has made it speed up alot and it's lost the jumpyness.
