3D Plasma TV

I'm looking for a high quality flatscreen plasma 3D TV around the 40 to 46 inch size. At the moment, I'm looking at a Panasonic Smart VIERA TX-P46GT30B which seems to be a highly regarded set.
Do AB users recommend this set or anything else?

...mmm...looks like a fair ol' piece of kit from the spec...just about double what I'd be paying for a tv...over a grand at some places!

If you have the "neccessaries" then why look any more ;-)

why plasma have you checked out the newer lcd tv's
unless your preference is for plasma,have a look round
Samsung seem to be the favs at moment,great picture great styling

A good quality plasma of that size will beat the pants off an LCD/LED contrary to others who spent a pile of cash on that type.
Good choice .. nice TV.
I think Samsung are better value .. but Panny are better quality.
Personally I use a Pioneer plasma .. which still seems as good as any new large format screens I have seen.

ive got the samsung LEd backlit one UE46C8000, had it a year now and love it.

Bear in mind that Plasma TV's are a little more expensive to run than LCD/LED ones.
Shop around as plenty of good deals to be had.
