Using calculator to work out hours worked / left to work

Hi,

Can I adjust the settings on the calculator on my PC to work out time, rather than decimal sums ?
Just want a quick 'n easy way to work out how many hours I've left of my 37 to work on a day by day basis (don't wanna phaff with Excel, or percentages !), ie. Mon I've done 9hrs 40min, Tues 8hrs, Wed 7hrs 50min, how many left to work over Thu & Fri.

Not on the default one which comes with Windows. You could, I suppose, multiply the hours by 60 and then add on the minutes.

I appreciate that you don't want to faff with Excel, but that would give you the answer instantly...

Thanks MarkRae. That's pretty much what I've been doing but it's still fiddly. If I can calculate using binary & hex etc. (all very useful, I'm sure !), I'm hoping there's a calculator somewhere where it'll work out 0:60 = 1.

There's probably a timesheet calculator somewhere on the web - have you tried googling for one...?

Alternatively, I could knock one up for you in Excel if you like...
