Blackberry and Outlook or other combination

My OH is terrible at managing his diary. If his "Diary Secretary" is absent it all goes to pot. For Christmas I was thinking of getting him some form of device that will help him manage (he likes gadgets). The system he used to use was a Blackberry which synched (sp?) with his Outlook and gave him reminders.

Does a blackberry come with outlook? Or is there another system that he could use? Could anyone recommend a particular device or system. The device would also need to be a phone, because I don't trust him to remember BOTH items if he goes out!!

Blackberry's and iphones (and android) phones don't come with outlook, they do come with their own mail client that will sync with outlook either through the PC software or using activesync if his organisation uses an Exchange server.

Thanks Chuck. He works for himself (sort of) so presumably I will need to buy outlook as well? He doesn't have any mail software on his PC. This is starting to sound expensive........

If he's anything like me, Barmaid, you're wasting your time.
Over the years my son has bought me a filofax, a palm pilot, an HP something-or-other, a smartphone.
Those of us who can't organise a diary, can't organise ANY diary or anything that even looks like it might be thinking about being a diary.
