Adobe PSE...........again

At the risk of flogging this one to death,as in previous posts I'm colouring B/W photos,and with your help quite successfully EXCEPT the hair.This comes up very dark in B/W and I can't get it to lighten up ie fair or auburn or similar.Is it possible? If so I would be grateful,as always,if you would tell me how.Thanks!!!!

I have learnt a lot of stuff for Photoshop (and others) from there.

Thanks m69,like yourself I have spent quite a bit of time on YouTube and learnt a lot but not in this case.The photos are old before "pixels" were thought of,so there is no definition in the hair for me to enhance and colour properly.Any advice would be welcome!!!!!
