More Ipod trouble!!

I swear these Ipods are going to be the cause of me going insane!!! Can anyone tell me how homesharing on itunes works, I thought it would enable me to plug the ipod touch into 2 different pc/laptops and put music etc from either onto device but this doesn't seem to work. Also still having problems with freezing when backing up, should I return it? It just doesn't seem to want to run through the laptop??

homesharing is for sharing itunes amongst other computers in your home not ipods.

so you have a pc in your bedroom with itunes and all your music, and a pc in living room with nothing
install itnes down stairs enable homesharing upstairs and both Pc's can play music in your library.

on an ipod touch / ipad synced to a diffrent library open itunes go to settings Music then enter the detaisl you used when sharing your itunes library (normlly same ones you use to buy stuff, has to be an apple ID close music down (or reboot) ipod touch/ipad and now when you go to music you will have the option "shared" under the more button.

not sure if possible with normal ipods

so no you cant plug in to to two diffrent itunes librarys but you can plug in to one and stream (not copy) from the other thats "home sharing"

return what? laptop or ipod? first thing call an apple store and ask for help
