And is this on a Windows computer, a tablet, a smartphone, or what?.

Sorry, VHG. I'm rubbish with technology. It's Outlook Express 6 on a Windows computer - my husband said. :o)
I'm rubbish too, but I think you need a disk that is writeable (terrible word)

Frustrating at times, isn't it Alba. I think I don't bother to learn because my husband does anything that needs doing on my computer - but he's out for long hours every day, so rarely available.

I've got the disk - I just can't see what to click on to save the address book to it.
use the import button to put them some where on your PC then burn it to disc
Well thats what I do what ever mail I'm using

Can I ask why you need to do it?
how on earth do you 'burn' it. I've heard that so often from the savvy teens in my house and they threaten to tell me but haven't yet.
I do it this way: Import > save to - it's a CVS file > burn to disc

Or do you just not know how to burn alba?

oj, thanks very much. I'm changing computers and I'm terrified of losing everything. I've got one of those external hard disk things (or whatever they're called) too, that I'm saving everything else to to transfer. I just couldn't work out how to save the address book to anything at all.
I can smoulder OJ :)

If I copy something to a disk, I suppose that is burning it?
LOL alba, yes you're on fire ;-)

TBH, I use web mail clients now, then I never lose anything email based when reformatting or swapping PC's
ooo naomi

I got me op's mixed up, apologies
Hope you're managing ok
