I recently downloaded the Firefox browser to try out but have discovered that it does not seem to work with my Norton anti-virus.For example on Internet Explorer I usually get a load of green ticks next to search results on Google to tell me which sites are ok to visit but not so on Firefox.I have windows vista Home Premium.Anyone know why it doesn't work on Firefox?

Whilst I have never been enthusiastic about Norton, I fail to see that you say about Firefox "it does not seem to work with my Norton".

I operate with Vista and Firefox and have installed an FF Add-on which, like traffic lights, indicates with with a coloured circle in the tool bar...'Green'..safe....'Amber' ok.?...'Red' ..go at your own peril.

Give WOT (Web of Trust) a try and see if this is what you now require. It's a free download. :-

I would add, the 'traffic lights' also appear at the sides of sites listed on any page you Google.
