Our daughter used her Apps Store login to install something on my wife's iPhone.

The phone just did an update and now it is demanding the daughter's password.

How do we fix this?

Will it allow you to change the user name?, if so put your wife's in, then her password.
Just looked on mine, there doesn't seem to be a way to change that. I'll have a look in settings, back in a min.
To update the app then the daughter will need her log in details as she had bought it!
Go to settings, store, tap ID and sign out, sign back in with wife's details.

Thanks Rocky.

I signed out of the daughter's login. It seems to have stopped the demand for the password now. My wife doesn't have an Apps Sore account.

It was actually very hard to get to that point. The phone just kept repeatedly demanding the password three times in a row every few seconds. I don't know how many times I had to hit Cancel. It was impossible to use the phone too.

It is doing an iOS update. Downloading 5.1.1 at the moment.

Is the requirement for the Apps Store password because the iOS upgrade will need it to reinstall the App when the upgrade is finished?

It seems we should get rid of the daughter's app anyway to avoid this happening again. How do we do that?
Put your finger on the app until it starts to shake then press black X on the one you want to get rid of.

I don't see an an unusual App. Maybe it wasn't an app the daughter put on. It was some kind of free emoticon download.
