Muddled text

Before I start I must say I'm rubbish at anything technical.
When I type text be it an email or even on AB the text becomes muddled - i.e. Hello hoyou, how you'w llyou, hope yond. That was Hello how are you, hope you are well. I've typed the first part normally but the second part with my hands in the air!!!! If you see what I mean. How queer - using a laptop by the way.

looks like some letters aren't registering. Maybe your keyboard is sticking a bit?

Do you eat at your keyboard? I often have crumbs in mine, so some keys don't function properly

Are you using a mouse or the pad thingy at the bottom? If you are using a mouse, maybe you are brushing the pad thingy with the side of your hand as you type. You need to deactivate the pad thingy. It happened to me when I first got my laptop but I can't remember , for the life of me, how to do it!
