Does anyone know if there is any way that an appointment can be added onto the calendar in Outlook and then copied onto another calendar automatically? The computers are on a network in an office.

Do you have an exchange server?

If so can you not just invite another attendee... or get the other person to share there calender and add the appointment to their calender and there is then a button to copy it to your calender.
That's what I was going to suggest, chuck - invite the person to your meeting.
Their calender even.... bad me :)

Erm.... I think we have an exchange server! I thought about the invite attendee, but the calendar onto which I want the appointment copied is not manned so would not be able to accept the appointment. Where would I find the button to copy to a calendar? This might work.
There is only that button if you are adding an appointment to another (shared) calender.

Where the button is precisely is a little tricky to say because you've not said what version of outlook.

It's Outlook 2007
If nobody checks the calendar you want the appointment copied to then why bother? Forgive me if I have misunderstood.
Since you are using Outlook 2007, this can be achieved fairly easily with VBA. So long as you know how to program VBA, that is... :-)

How important is this to you, and how much would you be prepared to pay for it...?
