Google Problem
23 Answers
Hi, I've just noticed that if I try to search with google all I'm getting when I go to the google site is a page full of code. Likewise when I try to sign into either twitter or youtube- just a page of script something like below- anyone know how to sort that out- it's pretty irritating:( Many thanks in advance.

If so, go to Tools > Add-ons and disable them, one by one, until the problem (hopefully) corrects itself. Then remove the offending extension. (If it's something that you really value, you can then try restarting your computer and re-installing it).

Actually... if you are a member of facebook, it will be easy to test if it's a problem with secure pages...
Does this link work?
https://www.facebook.com/
Or does this (or both) links work
http://www.facebook.com/
if the bottom one only works, I guess you could try the normal secure page problem fix, check the time and date on your computer.... not that I've ever seen it cause this problem.

Thank you both, both of chuck's links work and I already tried disabling add ons and also completely uninstalling and reinstalling firefox 'bare' so to speak. Also if I simply try to search anything in the google drop down search bar it does it, I've never seen anything like it and am fairly stuck. IE and Chrome and are both fine.
Thanks for your help so far.

When you "go to the google site", what is the URL you see in the address bar at the top of the page?
And then you see "a page full of code", is this before you search (i.e. immediately you arrive at the site) or after you search?

Okay this happens when I either go to:-
https://www.google.co.uk/
or when I search using the search engine toolbar and happens immediately.
