Google Problem

When I turned on the PC and went to Google it was giving me the results in German. To the best of my knowledge I have not changed any settings.
I tries a systems restore but no luck. I am running Windows XP and using FireFox I tried reinstalling Firefox and as before no luck.
Incidentally when I tried google on IE it was OK.

Go to the Google home page (google.co.uk)

To the right of the search bar is a option preferences, select it.

Check the settings.

Make sure it says "search for pages in any language" and that just "German" is not selected.

Press Save Preferences to save any changes.
