picture messages

hi i have a blackberry 8520 curve im with virgin mobile when im sent a picture message i have to go online to virgins website to view it why do i not get it on my phone when other people seem to cheers

It's your phone settings that need altering.
I'm not familiar with the Blackberry, but on my Nokia, if I wanted to alter the settings accordingly, I'd have to go down the following route:
Open messages, select options, select settings, select multimedia message, then there's "multi media retrieval". I'd have to go in there and select "always automatic".
I'm assuming that the Blackberry would be something similar.
