I keep losing all BBC programmes. After about 20 minutes the programme goes off and I get " no service" By changing to another station (e.g. ITV) and then changing back the BBC service returns, only to do the same thing again after 5-10 minutes. This is not a problem with any other Freeview programme. My neighbour does not have the same problem. Any suggestions ?

I was just about to post a similar question. I was visiting the Aged P's and after I clicked on Yes to re-tune their TV (new channels apparently) they got the same problem with all BBC channels. The problem doesn't occur on their other TVs (set-top boxes not in-built digital) and there doesn't appear to be a problem with the signal strength. Bizarrely if they watch a programme they get the problem but if they record it, no problems! Their transmitter is Emley Moor, is that yours? They've rung the shop where they bought the TV but they say it is the transmitter, but I can't see how.

I think this is a Panasonic problem, CC- in desperation I tried the Panasonic site and it is happening on certain sets. They were trying to remedy the fault. Is your affected TV a Panasonic ? Fingers crossed the TV has been on for an hour today and hasn't "gone" yet, hope they've found the cure. Best of luck with yours.
Not sure what kind of TV they have but I'll ask them. Thanks for the tip
