I have a Dell laptop which is connected via a wireless connection to the internet. Recently I have been getting a pop up which says "web page is not responding. do you want to recover the webpage". This comes up almost incessantly. Does anyone know if it is a problem with the lap top or the connection? Also, if anything can be done to remedy the situation.
Many thanks

I'm interested in answers to this as well. I thought it was my Dell laptop overheating as it coincided with the fan coming on.
I've been getting something similar on my PC. The webpage freezes, if I click anywhere on it everything is greyed out, and a dialogue box appears, that says: Internet Explorer is not responding. It takes a few seconds to get everything back to normal. Perhaps my problem and yours are related?
I get the same with my Samsung, I think it's to do with wifi..................
I've been getting the same problem today, on several websites and on two separate computers at separate addresses, most annoying!
I get it regularly too, so I'm feeling in better company now.

But I occasionally get it at work as well where the connection is fixed so I doubt its to do with the wifi.

I got it all the time on IE9, I've switched to Chrome and it hardly ever happens now.
I get it all the time plus keystrokes not registering (not crumbs). I deleted Chrome and its slightly better and I'm thinking of ditching IE9. I've got Windows Vista.
