My areial lead goes into a distribution box before being distributed to our 3 HD Ready tvs. To get the Irish TV (RTE etc) signals back here in NI I need to have a HD or preferably a Saorview HD box. Rather than buy one box for each tv, could I route the aerial lead into the Saorview/HD box, then into the distribution box, thereby feeding all three tvs at one go?

You'd need a box that outputs its signal via the aerial lead, which is a rarity..

You'd then only be able to watch the same channel on all TVs and getting a HD box would be pointless as normal RF transmission isn't HD, so you'd only get a normal definition picture on the TVs

Basically... it's not really a feasible plan.

Thanks ChuckFickens, I guess that's a non starter. I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't pick up that I needed HD and not HD ready when I bought the tvs (not that long ago)
