Using Wordpad I'm trying to print some numbers with the aim of "sticking" them to a t-shirt. The font sizes go up to 72 but I am only able to print a 48,which is too small for my project. Can someone please tell me why this is so ?? The preview shows it as correct but not the printout. Thanks!!

I knew it ...I knew it..I knew someone would hi-jack my post, serves me right. One of the reasons why I regret the stopping of anymore answers when enough were received. Can you answer my question please?????
Apologies codswallop. But isn't that why you put 3 question marks to emphasise double meaning?
Perhaps part of the image falls outside your printer's default settings. Have you tried doing, say, size 60?
Why are you using Wordpad?

Using Word 2003 I have just printed at 432 point which is 102mm tall.
^

And I have just done the same in Wordpad without any problem.
Codsw, I think what Howard means is, instead of choosing a font size from a drop-down list of pre-set choices, just type in the size that you want.
Give it a go and see what your printer does.
^^That's what I said.

Naomi 24 you could be right about the range of my printer but in the drop down list of sizes it goes from 48 to 72.
Hi HK i'm afraid I don't have Word on my PC.How do you type in a particular size???? Thanks !!
type the text you want
highlight it
open the font size drop-down menu
place cursor in it and type the point size you want
print

Thanks Howard I did as you said and the size I wanted came up in the little box at the top of the drop down list, but it didn't increase the size of the font itself !
Sorry
After typing in the size you want press Return.

PS What do the figures represent, for a tryout I typed in 190 nothing like that dimension on the screen and the printout was smaller??
usually it is the value in 'Points' where 1 inch = 72 points.
