virgin mobile any good?

I've had a good offer for a mobile contract which I'd like to get for my OH, but I don't know much about their mobile phone service or coverage. Does anyone have any experience with them and could advIse?

Virgin dont use their own network, they use TMobile so coveage is not a problem.

But now TMobile and Orange have merged to become EE (Everything Everywhere) I assume Vigin now use the combined tMobile / Orange network.

I have been with Virgin Mobile for years and never had a signal problem with them wherever I have been in the country, The only comment I would make is that should you need to talk to somebody about anything you are put through
(free of charge) to outer Mongolia or the Punjab etc. and it can be very hard to understand the person you are talking to.

Had a Contract once,NEVER again,been with "3" for years now without any problems.

I tried to get a contract with Virgin - hopeless online system and foreign call centres both failed to find my address and so I was brushed off.

Now with Tesco & very happy with phone coverage and their UK call centres.

Tesco dont have their own network, they use the O2 network, which of course is UK wide.

Thanks all, I didn't realise they used T-Mobile for coverage, I'm with T-Mobile myself.
Thanks for the warnings about calling Virgin, I'm with them for TV and broadband, hence the cheap offer, but haven never had to call them as yet. Of course I'm sure I will now I've said it. :)
