Kindle Fire

Hi

I am extremely tempted to take advantage of Amazon's Black Friday Kindle Fire offer but would really appreciate some advice. Is it worth buying or are there better tablets around?

I wouldn't bother - that's the Kindle Fire, not the Kindle fire HD, so you'd be buying a bit of superseded kit.

Note also the Kindle devices are "tied" to Amazon some what so you have to take that into account.

From what I can gather from searcing the web, there are, perhaps 3 or 4 comparable tablets on sale regarding price and technical ability. I think you look at what you will use your tablet to do the most proficiently for you and then prioritise your needs, such as speed, memory, screen clarity, apps, games, etc.

Google the Kindle Fire HD 7" compare to similar tablets and then you should be able to decide.
