Printer cartridge Refills

Can anyone help, we have an HP2110 printer/scanner, we have recently started buying ink to refill the cartridges, but on replacement of the filled cartridge it has to be realigned, the software or whatever it is does not like the refilled cartridges and is refusing to realign the printer, does anyone know of a solution please
