You could
- right click on the old file,
- then select send to new folder.
- then right click on that 'NEW FOLDER' after copying and give it a name.
You can also do:

- Use 'Windows Start>Computer' and navigate to C:\Users and then to the user account Folder area that you want to COPY

- Right Click on the Folders (and/or files) and select COPY (note multiple files / Folders can be selected by Right mouse click on first file, then scroll to the last file and hold down the 'Shift' key and press the left mouse key)

- go to the other new account folder where you want to put them and right mouse click in the folder and select PASTE to copy the files into the Folder

- Repeat as needed. Do not delete the original folders and files from the old account until you have verified and are sure that all files / folders have been successfully duplicated to the new user account folder.

Thank you both, what probably sounds so simple to you has got my head spinning!?!
I created the new account, but when I went to C:\users,the new account didn't show up????
I could probably try your patience for ages, but I think I should try OH tomorrow.

Now I remember why I have nothing to do with files LOL

Thanks again
Aya
It's very simple to do, Ayabrea. Don't feel intimidated.

And do as Pinkyboid suggested - Do not delete the original folders and files from the old account until you have verified and are sure that all files / folders have been successfully duplicated to the new user account folder.

OK I got brave and gave it a go....success!!
BUT
Not any of the firefox settings where transferred,no bookmarks or add ons,so am I right in thinking I have done something wrong?
Everything is still on the original user so I am not that worried-thanks for that advice about not deleting things till you are sure.
Thanks again, you are all very helpful.
Aya
The bookmarks and add-ons will not be copied over unless you do so manually.
