My operating system is Vista and I'm using Office 2007. I created a folder in 'My Documents' for some Word documents; I then moved this to the desktop. I want to change the name of the folder but it keeps saying I need permission; I am the only one who uses the computer and didn't put any sort of protection on the folder; how can I let the computer know that I am allowed to change the name?! TIA

It's vista...

So number one answer is please make sure it's fully updated. and then ask again if it still doesn't work.

Ta chuck; needs updating but it said it will take an hour so will do it a bit later once I've finished my work and see if it makes a difference!
The service packs are the important bit.
