Burning A Cd
101 Answers
Some years ago I was able to burn CDs galore but have lost the gift.
There is a gentleman who is with me in the music class and he has never heard of Any Dream will Do so therefore finds it difficult to pick up the rhythm - he has trying to play for 3 years. I don't think he can afford to buy the CD when he only wants one song.
I would like to burn one for him - anybody tell me from the start again. Thanks

It's doubtless true that a lot of the music stuff posted on YouTube is illegal (YouTube's own guidelines tell us not to upload copyrighted material, but people do it all the time). As for YouTube Downloader, download.com doesn't provide illegal software as far as I know, and in any case what you'd be doing isn't 'file-sharing' - you're simply downloading material which has been made publicly available.
Incidentally, another way of finding MP3 files is to use mp3skull.com - just a case of registering (free) and searching for the song(s) you want. Not everything is there, but it has rarely let me down.

mrs.chappie. It is illegal to download music from YouTube, there is no grey area as suggested by anaxcrosswords.
Just because the music has been 'made publicly available' that does not make it legal for you to make a copy for your own use. A good rule of thumb to follow is 'if you didn't pay for the copyrighted music or film but downloaded it anyway you are probably breaking the law'.
