Why mobile operators make you pay when abroad?

Why do mobile operators make you pay if you receive a phonecall from home while abroad?

Because they have to pay to link ontothe back of the foreign operators'phone lines

because the person phoning from home may not know u are abroad and therfore is liable to feel he/she has been overcharged. The prices must be available for what a call may be before the call is placed. with the phone company not knowing where u are with your mobile and therefore how much it may cost then it cant give a guarenteed price so the extra cost is passed to the receivers network. 

In other words the phone companies cant reasonably expect u to phone a mate on his mobile thinking u are charged at say 10p a minute whereas u are really charged 40p a minute because your mate forgot to mention he is actually in portugal as u speak.

Plus the fact that most other countries make the user of the mobile phone pay the extra for being called, ie. why should the caller pay more to call someone who wishes to be able to receive calls whilst away from home, the caller pays standard call rates and the mobile users picks up the rest of the costs

Because mobile phone operators are money grabbing greedy capitalist scum, who overcharge anybody they can for services which cost them virtually nothing.

In reallity a mobile phone call from abroad will cost the network less than 1p per minute..... Unbelievable aye!
