During a phone conversation with a friend he was telling me that he cannot use his lap top as soon as he signs in the arrow disappears. He has only been set up a few weeks and I don't know a lot tech but I said it might be his router at fault. Any other ideas that he could try. He would find it difficult to take laptop back to shop as he only has the use of 1 hand. I also told him to phone his supplier which is talk talk. Thanks for any replies.
Just adding to this it could be that on the laptop the mouse is switched off that's why the arrow has disappeared. There's a little light by the side of mine that I tap to switch it on and off, wonder if he should try doing that first?
The lap top has a flat surface area for the mouse to operate so it's not like a conventional mouse. Get him to try and find the area and see if there is a point he can tap to switch the mouse on and off.
As far as I know I think it is Toshiba Won't know till he rings and I will ask. Daisy apparently the mouse is there until he signs in then he can't do anything. he does not know much. If I seen it I might know what he is on about better. But I thank you for replies.
