I want to convert my cassette story tapes to a digital source. My question is :- are DVDs just bigger versions of CDs? I have used three CDs before so could I just use 1 DVD and would the DVD work in the car's audio system?

Answer basically yes DVD are a larger CD, yes contents of three CD will fit on one DVD. as far as playing in the car depends what audio system you have in the car, does your car audio play DVD's. check handbook or post bck.

Thank you KJN. My car has a DVD slot but I was thinking of friends and family with audio systems. I suppose the best way is to make one copy. Many thanks again.
