i used to be able to save websites to my desktop
but now when i click save as
i do not the see the desktop icon

I am very not a technie- but if you bring your site that you want to put on to desktop - minimise the page you are on as much as you can so that you can see the desktop and drag with your mouse holding down the URL see that if it works

With web page open try clicking Ctrl+S

miller info was wrong - just after doing one myself. here goes

1. Go onto blank bit of page on desktop where your icons
Right click on your mouse
2. Hit NEW
3. Shortcut
4. It will ask you want to be on desktop - type the website you want into this little box

5. Click next and give it a name or its real name - then finish - then should be on your desktop. Let me know and I can become A TECHIE yahoo

just looked at it and gave myself another one - this is even great for me too - any way you click you don't save the save option doesn't come up. two seconds
