How does one 'unfriend' a friend nicely

If you're "unfriending" them, then why are you bothered about a "nice" way to do it?

actually I did have to unfriend one person nicely...not going to explain why on here....I sent her a message saying that I was going to unfriend her and why. It was a serious and understandable reason, not to do with anything either of us had done. She understood and we said goodbye. She wasn't an "in person" friend but we had talked a lot on FB, we were linked by a serious illness.

cos I don't really want to offend any one Nibble - there are a few people who contacted me via facebook a while back but we haven't kept in touch since -just didn't want to be rude to anyone

If you haven't been in contact, just do it, they aren't told and if they don't try and contact you, they will never know....if they do you can either say "ooops and refriend them or deal with it then.

Go to your home page...select friends..a list comes up with their avatars or pic..to the right is a wee box click on that and unfriendly option pops up..select...done !

have done it - unfriended about ten people - really nice people but not part of my life anymore -
