iTrip

For the last couple of days my iTrip has started playing up.  Every 10-15 seconds you can hear a popping noise and the light flashes as if it has temporarily lost the radio signal.  Any ideas what I can do to fix this?  It's driving me nuts!

Just had to ask an obvious question here, the popping noise isn't the preset radio station mp3s is it?! Obviously they would cause the flashing light. Anyway, that said, maybe there's a loose connection? Check to make sure there's no dust etc in the ipod socket where the itrip goes. Even a very short loss in connection could result in the itrip having to reset itself. The light flashes when the iTrip is warming up.

Mikeyp, it's definitely a connection problem which is getting worse.  The iTrip won't connect at all now unless I hold it at a certain angle and it's still cutting out every minute.  The problem seems to be with the iTrip rather than the iPod as it works ok wih headphones.  Any other ideas?  Do I need to buy a new iTrip do you think?
