Hi,I am trying to install google chrome.It goes through all the installation,the icon appears on the screen,but when I click on it nothing happens.Help please

Just as a first off try restrarting your machine.
If it still won't work go to control panel and if chrome is there, uninstall it. Then re-install and try again.

Are you double-clicking on the icon (as you need to) or just single-clicking?

At the moment it is uninstalled,simply because I cannot use it.I have tried to install it several times,just wondered if there was something else that is wrong.Double clicking,which I am doing,also makes no difference.

Stick with Firefox. I find it far better than Chrome!
