Transferring Books Between Kindle
4 Answers
I have a Kindle and have just bought a Kindle Paperwhite. I wanted to transfer the books I have from one to another. I thought I could do it via the library on Amazon but several of the books I have bought are not on the library for some reason. Also, how do I manage the devices as the page only shows that I have two devices but I can not access the library for them separately. I hope that makes sense to someone.

Have you thought about going onto Amazon and downloading the software for pc? I did have a small problem at first with the fire but I was able to telephone the kindle/Amazon helpline and they were really great sorted things out in no time at all. You should be able to find all this info on the Amazon website, I'm sure you'll be able to get it sorted relatively easily. Good luck
nungate - I am a not very technical so your suggestion to ring the helpline is probably the best idea. I think I need to start from scratch and de-register my old Kindle and re-register it on a new Amazon account for my daughter. That way I (hopefully) won't get all her books and she won't get mine! I managed to copy a few books and transfer them on to my new Kindle but it took ages. Thanks for the advice.
