Windows 8 To 7 !

A while back (and I can't find the thread) I asked how to make Windows 8 more like Windows 7 at least in the start screen. There was some program that could be downloaded. Anyone know what it was? My friend has just got Windows 8 and it is driving her mad.

Or just wait about 5 weeks until the windows 8.1 update is available, which will address a lot of the main problems with windows8.

i.e. it will allow you to select boot to desktop, add the start button back and instead of all installed programs being added automatically to the start screen you'll be able to select what you want pinned to the start menu.

Although Windows 8.1 Beta will be released at the end of June it is not the finished product only a preview because the finished one will be released later this year. In the meantime another free Start Menu program has been released called Start Menu Reviver from ReviverSoft.com .It is the best one I have seen and it makes the start look like Windows 7 is.
