Transfer Music From Wma

Hi I have down loaded my CD to memory stick, it will not play in my car because it needs to be MP3 format and it is at present Windows media format. I have downloaded a programme to transfer from WMA to MP3, but it will not allow me to convert as the music is DRM protected, so how can I get that protection removed, or siply how can I get music on to my memory stick already in the MP3 format. I am useless when it comes to technical things
