Not really a question, just curious.
I had a free email account with this company (I used it as a business contact but no longer need it on a regular basis).
I wondered why I hadn't had a few of the circulars or contacts and decided to investigate a little and quickly found this:

Any idea what's happened to them, as in, for what are they being prosecuted?

Losing the address is not a big problem, I will just need to contact a few people with new contact details

he thought he'd be getting demands from the CIA to give them access to everything going through lavabit, as Google etc did. Google complied, butthe lavabit guy decided he'd sooner close down than be in cahoots with the spy industry.
