Monday. The Merry-go-round starts again. Yesterday's weather was not as bad as predicted, I have no idea yet what it will be like today. I'm meeting friends I haven't seen for a while for a late breakfast at the Stables Cafe on the canal today. that will be nice! :o}
I'm fine thanks boaty. Just recovering from all that rain and strong gales from last night. I went outside this morning (still dark!) to have a look around. Seems to be a bit of damage but fortunately only with flowers being broken etc. I'll have a better look when it's daylight.
How are you? I hope the weather was kinder where you are.
It wasn't as bad as we were led to believe jan, not even as much rain as promised. I haven't been outside yet, so I don't know either. I'm waiting for the local weather report to see if it's worth putting the washing out.
Lots of weeds springing up, they will have to be dealt with.
I'm doing boring things this morning. Food shopping, the bank, home to do ironing,, cleaning etc. All VERY boring stuff today. Maybe I'll bump into a friend when I'm out and go for a coffee. A VERY quiet day today. Oh, I forgot, I have to collect my £10 winnings from Sat lottery. Whooppeeeee !
Don't go daft with all that money jan! :o} The boring stuff has to be done though. When it's done you can look at it and think. 'That's that out of the way for a while.' I hope you meet up with someone to go for a coffee with. :o}
Morning All - banging headache again this morning - I wish someone would tell the bongo player to sod off! Gales and torrential rain for us yesterday morning so did next to nothing except watch a bit of motorcycle racing with Gs grandsons. They're staying over for a while as their mum is in hospital with a liver problem (oh how I hate those words). Still, on the bright side, Gs son came home early and took over looking after them so we could go and do a bit of shopping
Morning sweetcheeks xx
You still got the headache or is it another swine which has come back?
I was talking about you yesters, possibly arriving at work with a tail wind according to the weather forecast!
Is a bit of shopping a euphemisim? ☺
