Hi all
Two weeks ago my PC (W7 Home premium) shut down of it's own accord while I was using it. Hoovered the inside (there wasn't a lot of dust) tried a restart and hey presto it was ok. Unfortunately the same thing happened about 30 minutes ago. Just tried a restart this time and again all seems ok. The case does feel hot anywhere and all the fans seems to be working. Does anybody out there have any ideas please ?? All suggestions gratefully accepted !!

When you say the pc does an unexpected shutdown, it does a normal shutdown and no BSOD?
Question Author
You're right - no bsod, just shuts down.

Hi All
Just an update - turned out to be the PSU. Now replaced and back up and running. Thanks again for the help.
