Over-Ear Headphones
20 Answers
Afternoon all,
I wondered if I could pick your brains - especially those audiophiles who happen to be amongst us...
I would like some over-ear headphone. By this I mean headphones which go completely "over" the ears and "clamp" around the ear - rather than ones which sit on top of the ear, squashing it into the side of your head.
I guess that they would fit over a bit like noise-cancelling ear-protectors on worn on building sites.
Obviously I'd like them to sound nice, and if there's a wireless option, that's a bonus.
Amazon links wanted!
Thanks in advance,
Ed.

Tried these out in the airport last summer in the Duty Free area. They were amazing, would have bought them but I prefer the in-ear type.

Thing with those HC is that they're ear-squishers, not ear-missers :)
I find they get hot and uncomfortable after long periods of wear, which is why I'm after the larger ones which allow the ear to be"free" inside the "cup".
CD - do they come in non-racing colours? :) Looks about right except for the speedy branding!
Jom - the Sennheiser RS 180 look good, would have to try and see if they really go over the ears.
MccFluff - I can't wear those!
