Excuse my complete ignorance in such matters but ...despite my love for my wee kindle..I keep a pc for office and printing off..letters etc....if I replace pc with laptop can I still install and use my existing printer which is only a few months old....could do with de cluttering that corner of bed room..pc tower..screen..keyboard takes up so much space...

But being forced to use a laptop at work now, I'd never consider one for home. Well not without plugging in a proper keyboard with no daft mousepad thingy to drive one nuts whilst trying to type, and a decent sized monitor or two.
Yes, that machine will do everything you want. It is £500 at Argos, by the way - much cheaper than any where else.
This letter writing you do - do you print them off or email them? Do you use Office for anything else?
I am only asking because Office is a hugely complex and expensive piece of software and is not necessary for simple letter writing.
