I want one for Christmas and am spoilt for choice between these two. Has anyone any thoughts as to which is the best. Thanks.

The 7 inch version is now only £119...this is the one I have and I am very pleased with it. The 7 inch suits what I need it to do, which is reading emails, catching up with the news and TV program, whilst in bed. I have a proper desk top PC for all other things.

Everyone I have spoken to has not got a bad word to say about the Nexus 7.
I purchased one from Carphone warehouse and although it is the 1st generation (pre July 2013) but manufactures April 2013, it is brilliant and also very affordable only £119, whereas the proper price was £139, i also purchased a leather case for it costing only £8.98 off the web.
The only major drawback is the fact that the earlier version has only one camera a front facing one, but that doesn't matter to me, who wants to carry around a tablet to take photos when one has a mobile and a digital camera?
